Master the art of stained glass with Henri. He opens the doors of his workshop to you, located in the heart of an artisan area bringing together several craftsmen, where you will have the privilege of designing your own unique mirror.

Workshop outline:
• Welcome and introduction: Henri presents his workshop and introduces you to the art of traditional stained glass. Discover how, for centuries, colored glass and lead have been combined to create luminous and lasting works of art.
• Choosing the model and glass: Select the design of your future A4 mirror, then choose your glass based on the desired colors and textures. Learn to recognize the nuances, transparencies, and effects that will give character to your creation.
• Glass cutting: Perform the cut in two steps. First, draw a precise score line, then carefully detach the piece along this line. Henri will guide you to adopt the correct techniques and achieve clean cuts.
• Setting up the lead came and assembly: Set up the lead came; this step defines the layout of the glass network and the assembly order. Prepare the assembly table to accommodate the glass pieces and the lead came. Cut and adjust the lead using assembly knives, secure the pieces with nails, tap them down with a hammer, and open or close the lead flanges as needed. Before soldering, the flanges are folded back to reinforce the assembly.
• Soldering and finishing: once all the lead is in place, solder the intersections with tin using a soldering iron, respecting the tradition of master glassmakers.
At the end of the workshop, leave with your superb stained glass mirror, ready to add a touch of sparkle to your interior.
